Daiya Dairy Free Cheddar Cheese Product Review
I recently bought the Daiya Dairy free Cheddar Cheese block at Be Free Foods to test it out. I was so excited that I didn’t care about the cost. I had to try it. It has been 6 years since I had dairy. I had to cut out all forms of dairy from my diet a long time ago due to allergies. I made something simple with the cheese so I would be able to get a better taste of it. I didn’t want the food to be overpowered by other flavours. So I made, the classic Mac and Cheese.
I had used Maplegrove Foods Gluten Free Brown Rice Penne Pasta. I got this at Massy Stores.

For the cheese sauce, I had mixed 1/3 cup of Silk Unsweetened Original Almond Milk and 1/3 of the cheddar cheese block with 2 tsp of salt in a pot. After the cheese melted evenly, I poured it over the cooked gluten free pasta.
I really enjoyed this product. It definitely tasted like cheese or very close to what I remember. I want to try the other Daiya products like the shredded cheese and the cream cheese in the future.
